Mission Statement

The mission of the Website committee is to provide information about the programs and activities of the San Diego Chapter of AWIS to members and non-members. The website committee works with the AWIS Board and Committee Chairs to ensure that the information appearing on the website is current.

Joining the Website Committee:

The committee is in need of talented editors, writers and people who have experience coding in html or other website-relevant experience. The committee meets once per month in person. To join the committee contact Kristina Henthorn or Lawrence Fourgeaud.

Website Committee Wins the AWIS "Achievement in Innovation Award" in 2010 and 2009:

The award was presented to Wendy Ochoa and Kristina Henthorn in 2010 for their efforts in designing the new AWIS-SD website and logo. Corine Lau and Lawrence Fourgeaud received the award in 2009 for the incorporation of picture slideshow on the AWIS-SD homepage.
