The Outreach Committee of the San Diego chapter of AWIS is dedicated to nurturing and educating girls and young women interested in science and science-related fields. Our primary goal is to teach young women that they all have the ability to enjoy and succeed in the areas of science, math, engineering, and technology.
Most importantly, we aim to demonstrate to young women that science is fun!
